About my current role as on-air traffic reporter for 95.5 WSB, Atlanta News & Talk:
I give live radio reports on 95.5FM every 15 to 30 minutes to keep Atlanta running smooth. I craft reports myself using a combination of maps, GDOT incidents and traffic cameras to ensure my reports are always geographically accurate and up-to-date. I make sure my voice is consistently lively, engaging and professional as I speak to WSB's listeners.
My role at The Sentinel: The Kennesaw State University Newspaper
Arts and Living section editor
News, Opinion, A&L and Sports writer
Baseball reporter
During college, I was an editor and a writer for the KSU newspaper. I was promoted to the position of desk editor for the Arts and Living section in May 2025, after only one semester as a basic writer.
I managed a team of over 20 writers to produce high-quality articles, consistently editing and publishing them on strict deadlines. I also conducted biweekly pitch meetings with the news, opinion and A&L sections to produce unique story ideas and keep my writers engaged.
I also conducted interviews and performed thorough research to produce articles for the paper myself. I updated my website with my articles as I wrote and publish them.
My experience at CNN
News Desk Reporting Team; National News Hub
I completed an internship with CNN in spring 2025. I served as a writer on the News Desk Reporting Team, which is part of the National News Hub.
I met so many amazing individuals that gifted me incredible advice, guidance and industry insight. This invaluable experience taught me so much about working in a newsroom and writing for diverse audiences far and wide.
From my first interview to my first published article at CNN, this was an opportunity I will never forget.
